Dobrota is a long, low-rise settlement running north from the Old Town along the shore of the Bay of Kotor. Its southern end is walkable to the centre, while the whole stretch offers a calm seafront promenade, swimming spots and open water views, making it a favourite for couples and quieter waterfront stays.
There's no dense old core here — instead a ribbon of villas, apartments and small churches strung along the shoreline road and waterfront path. The seaside promenade is pleasant for morning and evening strolls, and staying further north means quieter nights but a longer walk to the Old Town's restaurants.
Getting around
From the southern end it's a walkable 15–20 minutes along the water to the Old Town walls; from points further north you'll want a taxi or car, and Tivat Airport (TIV) is around 25–35 minutes by car.
