District IX (Ferencváros) is a revitalised district just south of the centre, anchored by the Great Market Hall and stretching along the Danube with pleasant riverside walks. The northern edge meets District V at the Great Market Hall by the Liberty Bridge, while Ráday utca offers a café-lined street and the renewed inner areas mix student life around the university with residential calm. Getting around
Trams along the Grand Boulevard and the riverside, plus the M3 and M4 metro lines, connect you quickly to the centre, and the Parliament is a short tram or metro ride north. From Ferenc Liszt (BUD) you can take the airport bus toward the centre and change to a tram or metro heading south.
